World Tea Expo
VinCenzo International and the World Tea Expo go together like chocolate and peanut butter, like Bogey and Bacall, indeed like white and rice.
Tea is not just a hot beverage to be enjoyed throughout the day; it's also an ancient, magical elixir capable of curing any ailment from athlete's foot to a broken heart. Similarly, tin, though best known as the mild-mannered element Sn (atomic number 50), has also been scientifically proven to be the coolest packaging material ever to exist in the history of the universe. Is it any wonder, then, that these two three-letter-words beginning with the letter 't' (coincidence?) have created a dynamic partnership of historic proportions?

Tea and tin, tin and tea. Yes, it feels right to us, too.
In its ongoing efforts to pair these two forces, representatives from VinCenzo International attended the World Tea Expo at the Las Vegas Hilton on March 27-29. It was the first time that VinCenzo had exhibited at this show.

"We've seen tea customers at Fancy Food and other trade shows, but not in a forum that is specifically for tea companies," said account executive Dave Heeman. "It was nice to be at a show with an industry focus, and to see clients we don't normally see."

"It was the busiest show I've ever done," said account executive Karla Weiss. "I talked to a lof of people interested in learning what we offer."

Since many tea brands begin as boutique operations, Heeman said, many of the shows attendees were interested to learn about VinCenzo's flexibility regarding production. "They were surprised to learn that we can do a run of 10,000 or 20,000 tins," he said. "We don't have a minimum of 25,000 like many other tin companies."

Weiss also commented on VinCenzo's ability to meet a variety of needs. "A lot of people were interested in our stock tin lines, and we were able to show them the variety of stock tins we offer," she said. "Some of those clients might begin packaging their products in stock tins, and as their business grows move into custom tin projects."
The crew insists it was tea in the Buddha's belly, but we're thinking it must've been some of that "special" tea.
