| Now, the official line is that VinCenzo doesn't have favorite shows. We like to think that all of the many industries we deal with are totally incomparable; uniquely interesting in their own ways. That said, we like ISM. We like ISM lot. And the chocolate has nothing to do with that. Nothing at all. No, really... honest. |

Sweets producers from such storied confectionery nations as Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland, not to mention, oh, about 70 other countries, gather once a year in Cologne, Germany to push tons and tons of sugar, while somehow managing to cram themselves into a neverending maze of a complex that seems to rival Versailles for raw real estate. Huge is way too small of a word. Gargantuan is getting close. |

A chocolate bar commemorating the new currency of the European union seemed only too appropriate.

| "It's great to be back at ISM for a second year," said VinCenzo's European Sales Coordinator, Alesha Van Linda. "I'm happy to have the chance to see some of the customers we've started working with since the 2001 show, and of course it's exciting to be able to further develop the European branch of our business." Vice President of Sales, Joseph Marlovits, echoed that sentiment, "We have an incredibly unique product to offer, and we're here to show our commitment to the European market." |

With Carnivale right around the corner, the Italian confectioners were getting warmed up.

"Over the past few years, European tin companies have been greatly reducing the amount of tooling they have available," explains VinCenzo President, Keith Armato. "During that same time, we've created a ton of new tooling, plus, we're a custom manufacturer. Whatever we don't have, we'll make. We designed new tooling for 80% of last year's orders." Armato goes on to address the European market, "We're showing in Europe because we have an ability to custom design tin packaging that is completely unparalleled. We don't charge for new tooling, and this typically adds just two weeks to our lead time. This type of service has never been available in Europe, the demand for it is growing, and we're here to fulfill that need." |

Peppermint Cremes and Peppermint Bark are two confectionary projects VinCenzo recently produced for Williams-Sonoma.

|
| And so, in booth 15 of the USA Pavilion, tucked away in a corner of hall 8 of the massive Köln Messe complex, the VinCenzo crew is showing off some of the most imaginative and striking confectionery packages on the market... when they're not stuffing their faces, that is. The show runs through Wednesday the 30th, so drop by, say hi to the crew, check out the tins, have some VinCenzo mints, and please... for the love of God and all things holy... distract us from chocolate consumption for just a few minutes. If there can, indeed, be too much of a good thing, we need help... quickly. |
