Emballage - Paris
Paris has always been one of our favorite places. A cosmopolitan mecca of European culture, it's a town that places high value on style and design, from art to food to packaging. As such, what better place to host Europe's largest packaging show? Emballage 2002 is on, and VinCenzo has returned to once again show off our unique capabilities in luxury tin packaging.
The wine bottler... arguably the most popular machine at the show.
Luxury may, in fact, be the operative word for this show season. Fresh from Monaco's LuxePack last month, VinCenzo is pleased to be included in Emballage's newest pavilion, Luxury Packaging. "The new luxury packaging section is definitely a good idea," explains VinCenzo's European Sales Coordinator, Alesha Van Linda. "We've been doing a number of European shows over the past few years, and the difficulty with Emballage was definitely the show's size, and the wide range of people who attend. Now we're definitely seeing a higher concentration of people who are really interested in unique high-end packaging."
"We always like to think of ourselves as unique," says VinCenzo's VP of Sales, Joseph Marlovits."Even at a show like Emballage, that draws manufacturers from all over Europe, we're showing items and ideas that no one else has. Of course, we create tins for cosmetics and foods, which are very typical of these shows. But we're also showing things like DVD and media tins, and cigarette and tobacco tins, and we're approaching them in ways people haven't seen before. When you walk the show, our tins stand out."
Joe arranges the display while the Big Vincenz checks out the show catalogue.
Though the tins themselves get most of the credit for standing out, VinCenzo's new booth design is also a welcome addition. "People love the displays," explains Marlovits. "They talk about how everything else at this show is either behind glass or hidden away. Ours is the one booth where they can walk by, pick up the tins, and really get a good feel for what we're capable of. In the end, that's what we want; to bring people into the process and involve them as much as possible." VinCenzo is exhibiting at Emballage through Friday, November 22nd in booth 6B91.
It's a hands-on display, so Joe, perfectionist that he is, is completely incapable of keeping his hands off it.
11/21 6:05 PM - Culinary Update!!!
We understand that France's annual culinary tradition, the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau, may be occurring right now. This can mean one and only one thing. The last day of Emballage 2002 promises to be very amusing. Don't miss it.
